Easy Do It Yourself (DIY) Reclaimed Wood Wine Rack

This is a great example of how you can use reclaimed lumber to make something beautiful on the cheap. This is a easy do it yourself project (DIY). We took this great piece of reclaimed barn wood that had some nice splits down the middle and turned it into a wall rack for your wine. We have lots of material in-stock just like this and we would be happy to share with you how you can make something similar for your house. Stop by our shop in Mound and talk to Dave about how to make this reclaimed wood wine rack.

I really like the barn wood wine rack you profiled for this article. I found a local black smith who made a beautiful bracket to fasten mine to the wall. Anyone working with reclaimed lumber should have either a local welder or black smith for the metal work.

Reclaimed wood is unique, beautiful and fun to work with. Sometimes it can be challenging for our customers to imagine the possibilities when they see the rustic wood that we sell. We have a great team who can provide you with guidance to complete the project yourself or if you like we can build it for you. Mantles, barn doors, wall covering, frames, shelves, stair treads. It's all possible using the reclaimed wood that we sell.

We would like to share some of the amazing projects that are possible using reclaimed lumber.

We covered an old brick fireplace in the basement bedroom of this Minnetonka home with reclaimed barnwood to give it a more modern and updated look. For this project we took 100+ year old oak 2 x 5's and cut them in half which gave us 1 x 5's.
